An apron that can double as a cute tunic? Yes, please! This Japanese-styled apron is a perfect first sewing project. It’s ideal for denim or linen and looks great over jeans and a t-shirt when you’re not wearing it for an apron.
Student should have experience using a sewing machine (made a simple project like a pillow) or have taken Sewing 101."
Student Supply List: "1 ½ yards of 54” – 60”medium weight fabric such as linen, denim, canvas or home dec fabric. Many cottons come 44” wide and won’t work well for this project.
Thread to match fabric
Class Level:   Fascination – These classes will introduce you to a new skill, concept or technique and are open to all levels. The student may, however, be required to have a basic skill or have taken a certification class. For example, for a flat-pattern drafting class one need not know anything about flat-pattern drafting but should have a basic understanding of the sewing machine. Any prerequisites will be listed in the class description.
